ABOUT THE DESIGNER

Besides having more than 20 years experience in intense personal gardening, Lori has completed the OSU Master Gardening Program (1987) and studied Landscape Technology Design at Portland Community College, with a cumulative GPA of 4.0. She is currently volunteering as a board member of the Association of Northwest Landscape Designers.

She has been designing beautiful gardens for 10 years. She directed the Hunger Garden Project at Raleigh Hills School from 1991 to 95 and recently donated a Wildlife Learning Garden Design to the school, which is being installed in stages by their enthusiastic volunteers.

Lori has a B.S. in Elementary Education from Lewis & Clark College, 1977 and taught elementary school for eight years. She was able to be home with her two daughters as she gradually grew her landscape experience and business. Now that the girls are grown, she devotes full time to changing people's lives through landscape design!
